Who is responsible

Enquiries sent from this site are received and answered by Surmesur, 1075 Rue Vincent-Massey, Québec City, QC G1N 1M9. Privacy questions reach its contact address [email protected] — this site does not publish a separate privacy inbox, because no dedicated privacy contact has been confirmed for it yet; one is published here as soon as the organisation confirms it.

What the form collects

Exactly the fields you see: your name, e-mail address, the subject you choose, your message, and — only if you fill them in — a phone number and a preferred contact time. The form has no field for card numbers, bank details or identity documents, and you should never send them through it.

Measurements and photos

You may choose to include measurements or a photo so staff can advise on fit. That is optional. If you send them, they are used only to answer your enquiry and are deleted with the rest of the message; they are never published or passed to anyone outside the company.

Why, and on what basis

The data is used for one purpose: to answer your enquiry about made-to-measure tailoring at the Québec City showroom. The basis is your consent, given by sending the form. Consistent with Canadian private-sector privacy law (PIPEDA), only what is needed for that purpose is collected.

Who receives it

Form submissions reach Surmesur, to whom this site forwards enquiries from its own inbox. The hosting provider that serves this static site processes standard technical logs (IP address, requested page, browser signature, timestamp) to keep the site available and to detect abuse. No analytics service, advertising network, CRM or AI tool receives data from this site, and nothing is sold or rented.

Payments are elsewhere

No payment is taken on this website: there is no checkout, no card form and no payment processor connected to it. When you pay in store, the company’s own payment provider handles the transaction under its own terms, and this site never sees those details.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, pixels or cross-site tracking, so there is nothing optional to switch on and no consent banner to click. If an optional tool is ever added, it will be off until you choose it, and that choice will be changeable and revocable on this page.

The basket lives in your browser

Adding a position to the enquiry basket writes a short list — the name, the size you picked and a quantity — into this browser’s local storage. It is not a cookie, it is not sent anywhere as you browse, and no server sees it. It stays until you empty the basket, send it with the form, or clear your browser data. If you never send the form, that list never leaves the device you are reading this on.

Mailing lists

Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to anything. There is no newsletter sign-up on this site and no pre-ticked box anywhere on it; an answer to your question is the only message you receive.

Where the message is stored

This website stores nothing: it is a set of static files with no database. Your message lives in the mailbox named above, on the systems of whoever provides that mailbox and of the host that serves this site. If either provider keeps servers outside Canada, the message is held there under that provider’s terms and the law of that country applies to it while it sits there. Nothing is sent to any further country for processing, and nothing is transferred to an advertiser, a broker or an AI service anywhere.

Retention

Enquiries are kept while they are being handled and for a short follow-up period, then deleted. Records connected to an actual purchase are kept by the company for as long as tax and consumer-protection rules require.

How the data is protected

This is a static site: there is no account, no login and no database behind it, so there is nothing here to breach. Pages are served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Enquiries travel to the mailbox named above and are read only by the people who answer them; that mailbox is protected by the access controls of the provider that runs it. No copy of your message is kept on this website.

Links to other sites

Some pages link to other organisations — the company or body described here, public registers, regulators. Those sites are run by other people under their own privacy policies and terms, and this site has no control over what they collect once you follow a link.

Children

This site is written for adults doing the buying or booking, and the enquiry form asks for nothing that identifies a child. Where an enquiry concerns a child’s costume or garment, please send only what the staff need — a size or a measurement — and send it as the adult making the enquiry.

Your rights

You can ask what data about you is held, have it corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and you can withdraw consent for further contact at any time. Changes

This policy is updated when the site or its data flow changes. The version in force is always the one published on this page.
